Noel Madore is a Readfield resident, former two-term Androscoggin County Commissioner, and public finance professional. He served on the Androscoggin County Commission from 2017 to 2021, including a term as Commission Chair. As commissioner, Noel focused on long-term strategic and capital planning, improved relationships between the county and its municipalities as well as between county government and its staff, invested in lagged employee compensation, and began addressing deferred maintenance on the historic county building.
Professionally, Noel is a public finance analyst who manages large public budgets, treasury operations, grant administration, and financial reporting. He works with auditors and governing boards to ensure public dollars are spent responsibly and transparently. He holds a Master's degree in Public Policy and Management with a concentration in Finance from the Muskie School at the University of Southern Maine.
Noel lives in Readfield with his wife and three-year-old. He's running for Kennebec County Commissioner because he knows firsthand how county government works — and how to make it work better for the families and communities across District 2.
